
These are the flat plans that are being used as an outline for my main cover and contents page.
This is my contents page. I like the colour scheme used because it looks friendly and I feel that is needed in a magazine. You don't want something that is going to look un-inviting. I used the layering effect and shaping tools to create the circles and the text.
On the cover I used more effects on the text. I used the letter spacing and height to create the title and then the headlines. I like how it turned out because it looks inviting and it is eye catching. I'm not too sure on the colour scheme but I still think the entire composition is great.
Emily, this task shows that you understand the key conventions of magazine design and can use InDesign to compile a simple cover. I can see there is also some attempt to implement creative ideas - this is something to develop as you move on to designing a music magazine.
