Shown here is the market research into my magazine type. I was lucky enough to get a wide audience to get a large sample area.

The biggest demand for a magazine in music, according to my research, is Rock. Closely followed by Indie and Metal.




However, when looking into my magazine covers I found that there is a lot of Rock magazines and quite a few metal. The big gap in the market is in Indie magazines.




When looking into a title most people want something that is easy to read, catchy and colourful.











People seem to listen to a lot of music and this graph shows that rock music seems to come out on top.

There is vey much a mixed opinion when it comes to being influenced by the music around you but overall the main opinion is that it doesn't

Here I have researched the different magazine covers for each genre to try an find some links. Through my research I have found-

• Colour
• Font
• Image type
• Colour of plugs and pulls

However I have also found that things have been different-

• Size of mastheads
• Size of plugs and pulls
• Colour of masthead
